Xu Yongguang
Honorary President

Xu Yongguang is the Honorary President of the Narada Foundation, Guest Researcher of Counselor Office of the State Council and a member of the Advisory Board of the UNDP SDG Financing Platform. He was a member of the Ninth and Tenth National Committees of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC)   

Mr. Xu founded the China Youth Development Foundation after he resigned from head of the Organization Department under the Central Committee of the China Communist Youth League in 1988. The Project Hope founded by him has been developed and recognized as the most influential philanthropic brand in China. In 2007, he co-founded the Narada Foundation with a mission to foster civil society and promote the development and social innovation of the philanthropy sector.

Mr. Xu is a renowned thinker and practitioner with over 30 years’ experience in philanthropy and non-profit sector. He has made tremendous contribution to the theoretical and practical research on NGO development, social enterprises and impact investing. He is the Chief Editor of China's Third Sector Study Series and the author of Inquiry of the world—Project Hope in Xu Yongguang’s eyes and Social Enterprises, Where Philanthropy Meets Business.  


He Wei
Chair of the Board

He Wei, one of the donors and sponsors of Narada Foundation. He is currently a supervisor of Shanghai Narada Group Co., Ltd., a director of Narada Hotel Group Co., Ltd., and a director of Shanghai United Foundation.

Cheng Yu
Vice Chair of the Board

Cheng Yu, Vice Chairman of the Nandu Charity Foundation (Executive), McKinsey Independent Consultant. Cheng Yu is committed to the development of China's non-profit sector, with 12 years of market research and consulting experience from well-known market research and consulting companies, 4 years of office executive management experience in Greater China, and 3 years of McKinsey's market consulting experience. University of Chicago Ph.D.

Peng Yanni
CEO

Yanni Peng has over 20 years of experience in the field of non-profit management, social enterprise and social investment, and public services to vulnerable groups. She is CEO and a member of the strategy committee of the Board of Directors of Narada Foundation which is a leading grant-making foundation based in Beijing. She sits on the boards of a few non-profit organizations including AVPN, China Social Enterprise and Impact Investment Forum, China Foundation Forum, China Alliance for Fundraising Professionals, China Foundation Center and New Citizens Center.

Yang Dan
Assistant Secretary-General

Ms. Yang Dan is currently the Assistant Secretary-General of Narada Foundation, and is in charge of the Effective Philanthropy Multiplier work. Ms. Yang Dan has 10 years’ experience in the philanthropy sector and 3 years’ experience in the corporate world. Prior to joining Narada Foundation, Ms. Yang Dan worked at Teach for China, an NGO specialized in education, for more than 6 years, covering project implementation and management, public affairs and partnership relations, fund-raising and communication related work. Ms. Yang Dan graduated from Peking University with Master of Social Enterprise Management (MSEM) degree.
